That's a good idea, that should work well. I'll give that a try. Thanks for that!

Just tried this and worked for me as well. I had read about the SameSite update to Chrome and also that Google was delaying it, totally forgot about this. Thanks for the help!

I'm seeing this again actually. The method I described does fix it for some, others we have to wipe their entire Chrome user profile, then it works for a little while, then starts behaving the same way. We're also on Enterprise 10.7.1. I'm wondering if there is a configuration on the server or our authentication that needs to be changed?

This turned out to be due to the new Chrome update (80) and the SameSite security/cookie rules they are applying. This is solved with ArcGIS Online hosted content, but apparently not with ArcGIS Enterprise. For now, I found my users could get the embedded Survey123 web forms working again if they updated the Chrome settings as shown below. Hope this helps others. Open Chrome Browser Go to Settings (under the 3 dots on top right corner) Click on Privacy and Security Go to ‘More’ Toggle on ‘Preload pages for faster browsing and searching’. Close and relauch Chrome

I have a Survey123 Web Form embedded in Operations Dashboard with the Embedded Content widget. It works great for 99% of my users, but I have a handful of users that the survey will not load for them in the Embedded Content widget. It will load fine for them outside of Embedded Content. I think this is probably a setting on the user's computer, but have not been able to diagnose it. Has anyone come across this before? Thanks in advance, Mike

Setting the editing permissions with Survey123 instead of on the Feature Layer worked. Thanks for your help!

I think I follow and will test this out. One thing I will note though is that I need to make sure the View Feature Layer my users submit their data through is Add Only at the Portal Feature Service. I do not want these users to discover the source Feature Layer and be able to Update the records in there so I need this View to be Add Only.

Thanks for the reply. I checked the View layer and it appears to be setup to receive attachments OK. Screenshot below. Please note, my users can submit attachment just fine with the editor settings of "Add and Update", but their attachments do not submit with the editor settings of "Add Only".

Hello, I am following the code below from Attribute rule script expression examples—Geodatabases | Documentation almost identically (feature classes and field names differ obviously) and getting errors when executed in the browser/web app. The error is telling me I can't perform the edits outside an edit session (see screenshot of error). When executed within ArcPro the attribute rule is successful. Could this have to do with having Archiving enabled on the feature class being edited/updated? var fsAddress = FeatureSetByName($datastore, "Address_pnts", ["globalid"], true) var fsListAddpnts = Intersects(fsAddress, $feature) var AddList = [] var counter = 0 var noAddress = Count(fsListAddpnts) if (noAddress > 0) { for (var address in fsListAddpnts) { AddList[counter] = { 'globalid': address.globalid, 'attributes': { 'add_district_name': $feature.DistrictName } } counter++ } return { 'result': noAddress + ' addresses found in the district.', 'edit': [{ 'className': 'Address_pnts', 'updates': AddList }] } } else { return 'No address points in district.' }

Hello, I am using ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1 (Portal) and I have a Hosted Feature Layer View that has a Layer and a few related Tables. I wish to enabled the Editor Settings so that Editors can only Add features. The attachments are being stored in one of the related Tables. Users are submitting new records to this Hosted Feature Layer View via Survey123. When a user submits a record via Survey123 with the Editor settings as Add Only, the Attachment they include is not coming through. The form acts like it submitted OK, but the Attachment is not actually attached. If I change the Editor settings to Add and Update features, the Attachment comes through OK and is in fact attached. If I had to guess, I would say the record is getting created first and then the Attachment posted to it after as an "Update" and since this is not allowed under Editor settings of only Add features, the attachment does not post. Is there another way I should be configuring my Editor settings or is this a bug? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Mike

Hi Phil, Thank you for your detailed reply and review of my form, very much appreciated. Understood on the issue being Enterprise (Portal). Also, thanks for the note and clarification on the bind::esri:parameters, it was never clear to me if the query was needed or not and that helps a lot. Thanks again, Mike

Hello, I've been really enjoying attribute rules and trying them out on a few workflows, mostly with success. One workflow I have though is not yielding the results I would want/expect. I have two polygon feature classes, Campus and a Site, that each have an Insert/Update set of triggers that will pass the Campus ID value to the Site feature if they intersect. If a new Site is created or updated (moved) within a Campus, it will get that Campus's ID value. If a Campus is created or updated (moved) to intersect an existing Site feature, the Campus ID will be set on that Site feature. I have a Delete trigger on the Campus whose intent is to set the Campus ID to Null for all Site's that have that deleted record's Campus ID. While I think the logic for this could be better (it would be great to somehow take the Delete trigger from Campus and then trigger the Site feature to check for intersects again...can you do this?), it seems like it should work. What I am finding is the Arcade Expression has an Edit/Update to the Site feature to change the Campus ID field value to Null and that in turn is triggering the trigger I noted above where the Site get's the intersecting Campus's, Campus ID value and this never gets set to Null. It seems the actual delete of the record is happening after the Edit/Update and the Update trigger that runs on Site, so there is still a valid intersect with the Campus record I am deleting. Here is the Delete trigger on Campus var fsSitesFilter = filter(fsSites , "Campus_ID = @campusId") if (count(fsSitesFilter ) == 0) return $feature.ID; var updates = [] var i = 0 for (var site in fsSitesFilter) { updates[i++] = { 'globalid': site.GlobalID, 'attributes': {"Campus_ID": null} } } return { 'result': null, 'edit': [ {'className': 'sde_blah.Site', 'updates': updates } ] } Here is the Insert/Update trigger on Site var fsCampus = FeatureSetByName($datastore, "sde_blah.Campus", ["ID"], true) var fsSite = Intersects(fsCampus, Geometry($feature)) var campus = First (fsSite) var campus_id = "" if (campus == null) return null else campus_id = campus.ID return campus_id;

Hello, I have a workflow where field workers collect Locations, Samples and Sample Conditions in the field using Collector and Survey123. I have a workflow designed for them using Operations Dashboard and Survey123 where they can review and edit the Samples and Sample Conditions in a Web Form. There are one to many relationships from Location to Samples and Samples to Sample Conditions. This service is published to Portal with a registered database. I believe our Portal is running 10.6.1. All the data is archived with GlobalIDs and has the parameter Supports ApplyEdits With Global Ids equal to true. The web form has the Sample table and a repeat section for the Sample Conditions table. When using the Web Form to edit or add Sample Condition records, I get an error that states "Failed to Submit - undefined: FIDs must not be negative". If the user does not edit anything in the Sample Condition and only edits the Sample fields of the form, it will submit just fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Mike
