The tool should return the actual service pixel value when set to display visible layers, provided the source files are visible. The screen shot below shows imagery from our published service it returns the same value for both the original image and the displayed files files. Pyramids are only used for rendering and not data; however, do watch out for overview files. These will be different and are identifiable in the Pop-up info.

@JenRadcliff , I agree, we when thorough the same issue trying every tool possible in the ESRI lineup but was not able to find anything that would not at some time move the control layer. It would be great to be able to set a layer or layers to a rank 0 and not allow them to move. For the interim, we ended up using FME Desktop from Safe Software. They have a transformer called AnchoredSnapper that does just that.

I have a custom widget that uses the various difficult symbol choosers for points, lines, polygons, etc. I want to modify these layouts in my widget, but the HTML template is contained in jimu/dijit/SymbolChooser.html. I do not want to edit the default version as other default widgets use it. How can I copy/modify this template and reference it in a new widget? I did copy SymbolChooser.html and SymbolChooser.js as SymbolChooser2 and referenced this in my widget, but the widget still appeared to be using the original version. I also looked at using CSS, but the original HTML is in a table with insufficient IDs or classes assigned.

首先,Thanks, @TomSellsted, for a great widget. I have found it very helpful. I did note a minor issue that I am unsure how to clean up. If you draw a multipart polygon or line and press 'ESC' to quit the sketch, the line or polygon is removed, but the labels remain. Also, the widget remains in draw mode, and behavior is erratic if you continue to use the widget. How can the widget be modified to remove the active text symbols and cleanly terminate the current sketch? Sketching: After pressing 'ESC', labels remain Behavior after: Cannot see the first segment until the second click and only the last label is displayed upon completion.

After discussing this with ESRI Support, it is known bug: BUG-000151842: Publishing annotations created or upgraded in ArcGIS Pro 3.0 to Portal 10.9.1 or below failed and the following error message, "ERROR 001487: Failed to update the published service with the server-side data location" is returned. Status: Closed and marked as a known limit. Explanation: This is expected behavior for upgraded datasets. Refer to the following documentation topics for more information: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/upgrade-dataset.htm and https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/get-started/migrate-2x-to-3.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_AB5811C91E8C435DB6C07F2AA8B2D39F. Workaround: Use annotations in ArcGIS Pro 2.x or ArcGIS Enterprise 11. We did find that once a new annotation feature class is created on our enterprise geodatabase using 2.x, the data can be edited and updated using 3.x. ArcGIS Pro 3.x maintains the annotation as 2.x unless specifically updated. Unfortunately, you cannot create ArcGIS Pro 2.x annotation using 3.x and must have a system running 2.x available.

Uninstalled ArcGIS Pro 3.x on one system and reinstalled ArcGIS Pro 2.9. Recreated the feature layer and labeling and generated the annotation layer to the Enterprise Geodatabase. The problematic annotation layer now publishes to the Stand-alone ArcGIS 10.9.1 server without issue using the same data connection. Is ArcGIS Pro 3.x annotation not supported on ArcGIS Server 10.9.1?

I am using ArcGIS Pro 3.0.3 to publish/overwrite an annotation Map Service on our stand-alone ArcGIS Server running 10.9.1 with all the current patches. This morning I created a new annotation layer, added it to the map I publish from, and attempted to overwrite the existing Map Service to the ArcGIS Server. At the end of the publishing process, I received an error message that the overwrite failed to publish the map service. Upon looking at the log, the following error message was found: "StatusMessage: ERROR 001487: Failed to update the published service with the server-side data location. Please see the server's log for more details." The server logs indicated the new Annotation failed to update the connection string for the new annotation layer. The new annotation layer uses the exact connection string as the other annotation layers and is contained in the same Enterprise database dataset as the other annotation layers. If I remove the new annotation layer, the map will publish to the ArcGIS Server without issue. I created a new ArcGIS Pro project and added all the annotation layers into a new map from the same data connection with the same results. The map will only publish without the new layer included. It does not make sense that this is a connection string issue when all the data is from the same source. There should be an issue with the older data as well. One difference I did note, the other annotation layers are from ArcGIS Pro version 2.x and have not been updated. In comparison, the new annotation layer is from the 3.x release. Any idea why this annotation layer will not publish?

是的,我之前帖子只是一个编辑fter submitting the reply. I had not noted you are using a branch version that requires editing via a feature service. Not sure if you can get around not updating the editing data in that situation. I do not have a test environment on an enterprise deployment to experiment with. I get myself in trouble experimenting with the production systems.

I can understand your reservation. I had recommended using an Edit Session in python to perform your bulk update. We use this regularly to update attributes in our versioned databases without modifying the editor tracking attributes . However, I noted you are using a "branch version," which must be edited via a feature service. Not sure how that plays into editing data without updating the editor tracking attributes. I have been avoiding going down that path.

Did you try and disable editor tracking before performing the bulk update then enable tracking again? Enable or disable editor tracking
