The reason dotnet build won't work is because the Esri.ProApp.SDK.Desktop.targets file uses CodeTaskFactory for the in-line tasks that package the esriAddinX file. To support dotnet build, Esri would need to change these to use RoslynCodeTaskFactory which is the logical successor to CodeTaskFactory. I've done as much on my local machine and it has worked well, but it is only a workaround. I'd second the request to support this workflow now that Pro AddIns are written against .NET 6, particularly in the SDK nuget package.

我想适应EditingTemplates CreateTemplateWithCIM sample to write a template in which I have specified a default construction tool, and want to set some tool options on this custom construction tool. What I am seeing is that, despite trying a number of different ways to do so, the tool options are never persisted into the template using CIM. The tool options collection is always null when the construction tool is constructed. Setting the tool options using the Manage Template dialog works fine and everything works there. I tried this originally with Pro 2.9 and then adapted the sample to Pro 3.0 and still am not having luck. Any tips on getting these tool options to save with the newly created template using CIM? Here is the relevant chunk of code that I've tried adapting. //get the CIM layer definition var layerDef = layer.GetDefinition() as CIMFeatureLayer; //set new template values var myTemplateDef = new CIMRowTemplate(); myTemplateDef.Name = "Daniel Template With Construction"; myTemplateDef.Description = "some description"; // set the default construction tool to our custom tool myTemplateDef.SetDefaultToolID("EditingTemplates_Tools_ConstructFacilitiesTool"); myTemplateDef.AllowToolID("EditingTemplates_Tools_ConstructFacilitiesTool"); // Add default tool options for this construction tool var toolOptions = new Dictionary

Thanks, I also was sent this handy blog post that goes over the answer in detail as well, that those SOE written with Enterprise SDK will continue to be supported moving forward. Migrating ArcObjects SOEs and SOIs to ArcGIS Enterprise SDK

至于DevSummit 2021 t的讨论he removal of the ArcMap-based runtime from ArcGIS Enterprise, there were slides discussing that MapServers using SOE and SOI would be affected, and I wanted some clarification on if that meant all SOE and SOI, as there are capabilities of the Enterprise SDK that work only with services published from ArcGIS Pro, such as the Utility Network Tracing SOE example here https://github.com/Esri/arcgis-enterprise-sdk-resources/tree/master/Samples/dot%20net/SOE/UNTracingRESTSOE. Will SOE written using the Enterprise SDK like the sample above be affected by the 2022 releases without the ArcMap-based runtime, or are those SOE intended to work largely as-is with releases past 2021?

I'm having some difficulty using the AddAttributeAsync() method on the Inspector class. I have tried with different sets of attributes but I can never get the embeddable control to render the fields I have added, it only renders when I have loaded a full layer schema or a mapmember and objectId. Could anyone provide a sample that shows proper usage of this method? I was presuming it is this call that would provide for displaying a subset of attributes for modification much like the Create Feature experience shows. I didn't see any usage of this method in the community samples projects.

Thanks Uma, I should note, when I run same command on my development desktop, I get a dialog like this presented, which is also new behavior that I hadn't seen before, is this dialog expected? I specified a pfx and password in my commandline and specified /s which I'd have assumed would run everything silently. Nothing with the pfx or cmd-line parameters has changed on our end recently.

Hello, I have been reliably using the steps outlined in the following help doc to sign our ArcGIS Pro Add-Ins with no problems, until recently. https://github.com/esri/arcgis-pro-sdk/wiki/ProGuide-Digitally-signed-add-ins-and-configurations Lately, when attempting to run ArcGISSignAddIn.exe with the parameters suggested, I am getting a failure because a dialog is attempting to display and I am running headless in an Azure DevOps build pipeline. The version of Pro I'm using is 2.3.2, has there been any change in how this tool is working that would explain the behavior? Exception I get is copied below but not super informative as it doesn't display what the dialog was attempting to tell me. I can't pinpoint at exactly which release this stopped working but I see several builds that successfully signed the end of last year on Pro 2.2. Unhandled Exception: System.InvalidOperationException: Showing a modal dialog box or form when the application is not running in UserInteractive mode is not a valid operation. Thanks Rich, I had looked at all the Desktop.Editing namespaces but hadn't thought to look under the Project itself. That seems to do the trick and is easily awaitable.

I have a conundrum with versioned editing when a user has finished their work and edits are outstanding. Checking the state 'esri_editing_HasEdits' is easy and sufficient for determining when there are edits, but I need to call the Save Edits button 'esri_editing_SaveEditsBtn' to prompt the user to save or discard the edits, in lieu of there being any SDK call that I have found to support interacting with the Editor. The challenge comes in using IPluginWrapper to get an ICommand to execute, as there is no way to wait (or await) the result of the dialog that is inevitably presented to the user. This means I cannot tie any further necessary operations conditionally after the call to Save Edits, because the Execute command returns immediately before the user has had a chance to interact with the dialog. Is there any other way to accomplish what I am attempting, or perhaps any plans to surface this sort of editing control via the SDK?

I'm curious if there is any way in Pro 2.2 to create a Swatch for a given symbol, like you can do today with the WPF Runtime SDK. I didn't see anything obvious when inspecting the various CIM* symbol classes or in the Pro SDK API reference. I am wanting to use the symbols the user has specified for certain layers in a WPF UI of my own creation for a consistent look and feel.

I'm looking for something similar to IActiveView.Refresh from the ArcObjects world. My use case is that I'm running a tool that updates the features in the layer, and I need a way to get the map to re-draw from my code similar to how the out-of-the-box tools are doing automatically. In my particular example, I am using UNME and am validating the Utility Network topology, which causes the Dirty Areas polygon layer to remove polygons for areas that are valid. I tried looking around for a way to invalidate just that layer but wasn't having much luck. Any clues for how to get the layer to refresh properly? This layer is coming from a feature service published through ArcGIS Enterprise per requirements of the UNME.

As I recall there was an old sample on github that had a pane with the listbox panel selector code in it. Here is a link to the old file that had that code, you could try checking out that old branch and seeing it for yourself. I adapted that sample with some changes for my own controls and it did the trick. https://github.com/Esri/arcgis-pro-sdk-community-samples/blob/1.4.1.7198/Framework/FontStyles/Dockpane1.xaml
