I wish I had a definitive answer for you, but as I recall, I did not find a solution to this issue. I still get very slow redraw with State Plane cached map services in ArcGIS Pro (now 3.1). My guess now is that it is not using the cached tiles at all for some unknown reason and instead it is drawing un-cached data. So, my solution is just to not ever use that specific type of map service in ArcGIS Pro - I know, not an optimal solution. If I can find any other information about this issue in my notes then I will try to remember to post it here.

@Anonymous User I agree with the others, it would be great to get this locator issue working correctly in the Survey123 web in the browser. I tested it today, and as far as I can tell, it still does not work.

Count me in! Please make the Explore tool tolerance adjustable!! Sure, using the Ctrl key does work, but it is not nearly as friendly and fluid as having a larger tolerance available for Identify.

Yes, totally agree! I resize the layer properties window constantly throughout the day and it is frustrating. I just want it to show up tall enough vertically to show the layer refresh setting (just below the Layer ID setting) on the General tab - which is always below the bottom of the window edge, plus there is no scroll bar.

When using the Export Records action of the Feature Info widget, the exported CSV file shows the codes and not the descriptions for fields that have domains. The default export behavior should output the description instead of the code for those fields, as it does in Web AppBuilder applications. Currently, with Experience Builder, there appears to be no way at all to get the attribute descriptions into the output table. The soon-to-be users of the application that I am developing with Experience Builder have explicitly requested the ability to export all of the records in the data to a file (must be a non-proprietary format). Those users will not be able to do their analysis if they receive the domain code values instead of the descriptions.

I noticed a curious thing about this issue at the end of the day yesterday. If I create an application from Web AppBuilder that includes my hosted feature layer and includes the Table widget, and I export all the records to CSV from the table, then value descriptions (not codes) are in the output CSV. This is exactly what I want. Except that there was a reason why I didn't use Web AppBuilder in the first place - cannot remember that reason at the moment, so I don't plan to attempt recreating the application in Web AppBuilder. It would be great if Experience Builder had parity with Web AppBuilder with regard to attribute table exporting to CSV.

I sure hope not but that may be what I am forced to do. I'll likely hit up Esri Tech Support in a couple days to see what they know about it.

While this would be a fix under other circumstances, my specific workflow does not involve using geoprocessing tools in ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap. In my situation, I am relying on the data export functionality within ArcGIS Experience Builder and ArcGIS Online, where I have not been able to find a setting that would accomplish what your reply describes. The folks who will be using the web application have no GIS experience and the data must be exported to them in its final, easy to interpret format. I feel like I must be missing something in Experience Builder or AGOL - Esri must have something in there to accomplish this. Right?

我有小部件的特征信息my EB application and it shows the data records of a hosted feature layer. When using the Export Records action of that widget, the exported CSV file shows the codes and not the descriptions for fields that have domains. Is there a way to make the CSV export table contain the description instead of the code for those fields? My application users will be confused by the code values that get exported.

Ah yes! Agreed!!! I have been thinking about this issue for a week now and very glad others feel similarly. My users of an ExB application I am creating are only editing point features and they do not require snapping in any way, so that part of the Edit Widget window just gets in the way and adds confusion for them. I would love to be able to choose not to show the snapping tools in the Edit Widget window.

I thought that the map projection could be an issue, so I made sure to test it in a map that has the same State Plane projection as the service. But it was still slow. In fact, when I add a Web Mercator (Aux Sphere) cached map service to my State Plane map in ArcGIS Pro, it is still very quick to draw. Thanks though.

I had just published a cached map service from ArcGIS Pro 2.9 (also had tried this in 2.8 a week earlier) to ArcGIS Server 10.9, which went perfectly fine. This particular cached map service is in a State Plane coordinate system. When I pull that cached map service into a blank map in ArcGIS Pro, it draws very slowly, as if it is not using the cache tiles, or if it is using the tiles, they are being drawn very slowly for some reason. When I add an older cached map service (created from ArcMap 10.7.1 and located in ArcGIS Server 10.7.1) to this same ArcGIS Pro map - a cached map service which is projected in Web Mercator (Auxiliary Sphere) - it redraws very fast, as you would expect from a tile cache. The two cached map services being tested here are the same aerial imagery mosaic. So I'm just wondering how to get my State Plane cached map service to draw as quickly as the Web Mercator version of the service in an ArcGIS Pro map. ?? They both draw equally fast in the ArcGIS JavaScript viewer as well as in ArcMap 10.8.1. What is it about the cached map service not being in Web Mercator that would make the tiles so slow to draw in ArcPro? I don't think the issue is with ArcMap vs ArcPro, nor with the version of ArcGIS Server or anything such as that.

No, I have not tried to create a dropdown list of sde versions. My experience with changeversion is limited to just the script tool that was the subject of this post.

Hi ChrisPy, Glad to know the overwrite method worked for you. Because of your success, I made another attempt using the overwrite option to update an ArcMap published cached map service to an ArcGIS Pro published cached map service. It worked! A Web AppBuilder application is definitely using the tile cache from that service! And I did not need to make any adjustments to the cache settings in AGS Manager because doing the overwrite kept all the cache folders as they were. There is a little confusion about the presence of tiles when checking the tile cache status from AGS Manager - it says 0% of tiles present. But checking the browser console when viewing the application proved otherwise.

Thanks for the suggestion. My tile cache is currently located where the ArcGIS Server manager directory is pointing...I did a map service overwrite from Pro, so nothing required a move. Did you overwrite your existing cached map services or did you publish new ones?
