We have a Data Loading toolbox that is very useful and would be my recommendation for loading into the new feature service. Also, deploying the Water Distribution Data Management solution again will deliver the updated maps and apps that use the new feature service.

Hi Walter, What version of the Water Distribution Data Management solution do you have? You can see the version as a property shown at the bottom of the page on the settings tab of the solution item. There were some minor changes to the fields at version 2 so if you're using anything earlier you'll need to either migrate data to the updated solution or make the same changes to your service so the swap source option will work. Thanks, Joel

I tried to replicate the issue on my iPad (with an older version of Field Maps) and I was able to submit edits with correct OIDs. But when I updated to the latest version of Field Maps the issue returned. The Field Maps team is aware and working on the issue.

Hi Dan, I'm seeing the same thing in my org. Could you log a technical support request? I'll keep looking into it on my side and will post back here as soon as I know more. Joel

Hi Juha, I'll be watching this space too to see if anyone else has this question or has an elegant method of representing this information in ArcGIS Online. As of now publishing annotation is only supported in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6 and newer. It is possible to publish annotation to ArcGIS Online as a tile service but the usability is somewhat limited. In my experience the better long term solution is much like you've suggested using creative popup configurations to provide the same level of information in an acceptable user experience is time better spent than trying to represent the CAD data in ArcGIS Online as it has been viewed in the legacy systems. Thanks, Joel

Hi Allyson, I found a couple of things that should fix the issue. 1. Only use the map service, not the feature service 2. Prior to publishing the map service, update the label expression for the lines to include $feature.subtype in the domain name portion of the expression so it should look like this: "...DomainName($feature, 'ASSETTYPE', $feature.assetgroup)..." this is in the label expression twice, change it in both places. 3. Confirm that you are updating the max number of domain records returned to over 10,000,000 I hope this helps! Joel

Hello Anete, I have seen this before where the trace features path is broken: Can you check for a valid path and if it is broken set the source to the default geodatabase here: I hope that helps, Joel

The same process I outlined for Water can be used for the District Energy Asset Package you downloaded from the POC page. (Adding Rename table process) The POC data model was the foundation for the newly released District Energy UN Foundation solution. Minor updates were made to the sample data as well as which fields are visible for each Asset Group in each of the feature classes.

Hello, It is possible to use the Modification Tables to add Finnish Aliases to the components of the Water Distribution Network Foundation solution. Use the steps here: to add a D_Rename table. After the field has been added, translate the values in the "Current Name" field into the Finnish field for each row in the table. When you are ready to apply your asset package you will see the option to select Finnish in the "Rename using". I hope this helps!

OK, I think I found the issue and also discovered that while Excel to Table does import the table, it doesn't get the field types, bypass field domain, or Text field lengths (255 instead of the necessary 1000). I found this character, before the T in Trapez, when looking at the translated field in Excel, I didn't see it in Pro: Try finding and removing the invalid character in Excel, and copying and pasting "Trapez" into Pro in the same places in your D_Rename table. Excel is a more user friendly place to make the adjustments but the import process loses some info along the way. An import to table, join with rename, then field calculation may work as long as your object IDs are the same between the two tables. I hope that helps! Joel

Hi, It is possible to edit the tables in excel and import them back into ArcGIS Pro. I was able to test exporting D_Rename using Table to Excel, Added a new rename column, entered some values and then imported on top of the existing table using the Excel to Table tool. Would it be possible for you to post your exported Excel file? I have seen errors in the characters in different languages before.

Hi Vladimir, This was found and fixed for the upcoming release. To resolve the issue, edit the model in ModelBuilder, add a new Utility Network Trace and move all connections to the new trace then delete the old trace. Save the model and try again. Thanks, Joel

嗨加雷思,谢谢您的反馈!我们是磨破king on updating the data dictionary with more information. The asset type descriptions for each feature are available in the section just below the Subtype area. Using your supply example, from here: https://solutions.arcgis.com/water/help/water-distribution-utility-network-foundation/DataDictionary/DataDictionary/#WaterDevice-Supply scroll down to the next section Subtype: Supply: Asset Types and you can see the descriptions. I hope this helps! Thanks, Joel

Hi Matt, The Water Distribution System Foundation deploys feature services and views. The feature services are editable the views are deployed read only. The Digital Water Map is created using the read only views with the exception of the Water Issues layer. In order to edit all layers in Pro or Collector create a new map using the source feature services. A quick search in My Content for '-view' will return the editable feature services. Select, right click, Add To New > Map Save and share the map and you should be good to go. Thanks Joel
