Hello, I am creating geodatabases to send to clients. Usually we send image files as tifs or flt files that get loaded into the geodatabase as a raster dataset or raster catalog. We need to use specific color bars for these files however I am having an issue when files are loaded as a catalog. Sometimes our tifs/flts are just too big to have single files exported from another software so it's easier to break them into tiles and then load into raster catalogs. However, in this case the color ramp restart at each tile instead of being continuous across the whole set of images. This leads to breaks in the colors and reinterpretation of the values, which is messy and looks inaccurate. Does anyone know how to adjust this? I've been looking into this issue and having trouble understanding how to manage my coding. I'm working in a geodatabase with relative paths and was able to rework a VBScript code to work with my first shapefile. So I have two columns in my attributes table and when I select to activate the hyperlinks and hit a point - one image file (Data_Hyper) and one pdf file (Data_TOC) open at the same time: Function OpenLink ( [Data_Hyper] , [Data_TOC] ) Dim path Dim objShell path = [Data_Hyper] Set objShell = CreateObject("Shell.Application") objShell.ShellExecute path, "", "", "open", 1 path = [Data_TOC] Set objShell = CreateObject("Shell.Application") objShell.ShellExecute path, "", "", "open", 1 End Function This code is not working for my new set of data, as this time I need the links to open an image and a specific page within a large pdf (last time we split it up into one pdf per sample but this time we want to keep it as one large pdf and link to the specific page for that sample). I am able to get the pdf hyperlink to work if it's the only hyperlink turned on (using the path: ..\..\Samples\TOC\Samples.pdf ?/A Page=3=OpenActions). However, when I try to use the script above it opens the image path but no longer can open the pdf path. Hello, I am working on survey map with 1000+ data points. At each data point, there exists an associated tiff image file. Our client requested that we add hyperlinks to the shapefile so they can select the point and it will open the linked image. We were able to do this, but the only way to send the files now will be to send a folder of all the tiff images along with the map package. We were wondering if there was a way to import the tiff images into the map and link them to the shapefile points so that when a point is selected the tiff image shows up. All of the tiff files are already georeferenced so when I drop them into the map they show up behind the points. The issue is in areas where points are dense and overlapping we cannot look at one tiff at a time. We are using ArcMap 8.0. Thank you! ... View more
