Greetings. I'm using a Geographic Coordinate System ( WGS84 ). And i've used an SRTM DEM while using the hecgeo HMS extension on ArcMap. I've got all the way to [ Characteristics ] > [ River Slope ] and it showed me this error. I tried fixing it by adding a Z factor of 1 - Which is the default - by using [ 3D analyst ] > [ Slope ]. I named the result WatershedFactor1 This error showed up : Would appreciate the help. Thank you.

I've changed my laptop's drive to an SSD. Which meant I had to start from scratch and install these programs. I did so using the exact order that you mentioned. This time I used a Geographic Coordinate System ( WGS84) and the operation went smoothly and the error did not appear. I apologize for changing more than one factor, which led to the inability of pinpointing the origin of the issue, whether it was faulty programs or the use of a Projected Coordinate System ( JTM ) . In the end, it did work out. Thank you.

Hello. I have ArcMap 10.8.1 and Hec HMS 4.0 . Don't know if that means hecgeo-HMS is 4.0 as well. I've tried projecting the original DEM into a local Projected coordinate system and then starting from scratch. It lead to the same error, with all the previous steps successfully done. As for the ArcHydro tool. Using it also lead to the same error message.

Hello. This error appears when I use Preprocessing > AdjointCatchment Processing. The original DEM is in a Geographic coordinate system. Please advise.

I think i've encountered such an error before. I can't remember which solution helped me but try these 3 in separate projects so you can avoid more errors: - Change the projection of the original DEM that you started the project with. If it's Geographic then project it to a projected coordinate system and vice versa. - Try putting the output file in the default geodatabase. If that didn't work try putting it in the default geodatabase under a file named " Layers " . - Try putting Inlets and Outlets instead of just an Outlet. Hope this helps.

Hello. I've solved this by uninstalling ArcHydro Tools from ( Programs and Features ) within Windows. After that I downloaded ArcHydro Tools online. Thanks everyone.
